In 2023 Proveto organizes the 17th edition of the Veterinary Sport Horse Congress in combination with Jumping Amsterdam. Sport Horse Vets from all over the globe will be heading to Amsterdam at the end of January to meet again, three years after the last succesfull edition in 2020.
The Veterinary Sport Horse Congress will be a coming home for sport horse vets!


In the unique ambiance of Jumping Amsterdam, equine veterinarians with specific interests in sport horses are able to attend the 17th edition of the Veterinary Sport Horse Congress.

International top speakers are invited for this 2-day programme on the 27-28 January about sport horse medicine and management. Make your visit a 3-day conference when attending the practical pre-congres day, MTS Sport Horse in Practice. This is organized at Utrecht University on 26 January.


Jumping Amsterdam is the annual highlight in the Dutch equestrian calendar. At the end of January, Amsterdam is hosting the world’s best riders in both show jumping and dressage. During the evening programs attending veterinarians have the opportunity to relax and watch the fabulous shows and contests during Jumping Amsterdam 2023, only included with VIP registration. Renew your Insights - Tendon and Ligament Injuries
In 2023 our Diamond Partner Boehringer Ingelheim together with Platinum Partner UTC Imaging are organizing a unique and very interesting Satellite Seminar on Thursday evening 26 January in advance of the Veterinary Sport Horse Congress. The programme starts at 18:30 with a drinks and finger food. This Satellite Seminar focuses on the latest insights and innovations in the diagnosis and treatment of tendon and ligament injuries in sport horses. The programme consists of short 20-minute lectures, case presentations and a final Q&A wrap up session.

Competition Horses - Health, Optimal Treament..and Welfare?
Organized by our Platinum Partner Grovet, this unique Satellite Seminar covers important international issues and dilemmas for sport horse vets on optimal treatment of sport horses.

Differences in between countries, changing European regulations, public licence and acceptance create many challenges for sport horse veterinarians that are treating international competition horses. Via interactive cases and anonymous voting many of the current issues are addressed and openly discussed by the panel.
